Sayulita Views

I’d been looking forward to getting out of dodge (a.k.a. Denver) for a while now. Thank goodness that this Mexico vacation has been in the works for over six months. Fall in Colorado is amazing, but with all that’s been going on lately, this vacation came at a perfect time.

After looking at the weather in the weeks leading up to the trip I’d become apprehensive, but Sayulita, which is located just slight northwest of Puerto Vallarta, did not disappoint. We got off the plane and were immediately hit by a wave of warm, humid air. Pair that with the unwavering sun and our small group of four amigos¬†were immediately¬†shown what we could expect for the next seven days. Only a few welcomed showers swept through during the trip, but with that came awesome Mexico skies. Enough said.

Salty waves, sweaty brows, lots of laughs, and more tacos (and cerveza) than you can imagine, this trip was another one for the books. Only slightly dampened by a wave of sickness, it was amazing to sit on the beach, take in the waves, cool down in the pool, and relax. There was no rush for anything and all the people were friendly and accommodating. We even found a little place that had some American football playing, so we were never out of the loop for long.

The week went by so quickly, but the memories will continue on. I can’t wait to go back and see more sights. Mexico, and Sayulita, definitely has a lot to offer. I’m already craving fish tacos again.
